Meet Kari Cassity, an MSU groundskeeper who has been
here for the past eight years. Kari graduated from Morehead in 1992 with a
bachelor’s degree in communications. Before working at MSU, Kari worked as a
caregiver for 12 years. Her sister, who also works at MSU, notified her of the
grounds keeping job opening eight years ago, to which she then applied. Kari
says her favorite part of her job is the people she works with. When she isn’t
at work, Kari enjoys outdoor adventure activities, such as hiking, rock
climbing, and kayaking. Kari says if she could hang out with a famous person
for a day, she would like to meet Elvis Presley. Kari says the best concert she
ever attended was 38 Special and Bon Jovi in Evansville, IN in 1986. MSU is lucky to have Kari on our Facilities Team!
